table.globalnav img#multiply_logo_anon { visibility: hidden; }
.colorizedlogo { background-color: transparent; position: absolute; top: 10px; left: 40px; }
HOST THE COLORIZED LOGO YOU WISH TO USE IN YOUR OWN ALBUM. GET THE IMAGE PROPERTIES URL READY TO USE.
Add this html to site title:
< div class="colorizedlogo" >< a href="http://multiply.com/info/premium/prem_int_staffblog" >< img src="IMAGE PROPERTY URL HERE" border="0" >< /a >
SAVE. DONE.
if you need to change the positioning, go back to your CSS area, and just adjust the top and left px's. View in FF, as another user, and in IE browsers to ensure proper alignment.
It's that easy! Thanks to Luiz for his tutorial on adding widgets! I used his tutorial to find that this was the easiest way to do this with positioning!

USING CSS ONLY From Luiz !
NOTE: At this time this does NOT WORK in IE because IE suxx and won't recognize png as a background nor recognize the opacity that is required.
Another way to add these using only CSS (and again will not work in IE) Hover over our red Multiply logo top of this page to see example.
.header .globalnav img#multiply_logo_named { filter:alpha(opacity=0); -moz-opacity: 0.0; opacity: 0.0; -khtml-opacity:0.0; } .header .globalnav img:hover#multiply_logo_named { filter:alpha(opacity=100); -moz-opacity: 1.0; opacity: 1.0; -khtml-opacity:1.0; } div.header table.globalnav tbody tr td[rowspan="2"] { background: url(NEW_LOGO_URL) no-repeat 12px 2px; max-width: 70px; max-height: 38px; }
The 'img:hover' block is optional and only needed if you want to display the original Multiply logo when you mouse over the custom one (recommended).

| | Multiply's Dimples for the Textareahandle can be customized to match any theme. All that's needed is the desired hex color code or rgb code.
These are best viewed by clicking on each individual color.
To learn more about customizing the textareahandle, check out the comments in this thread.
A special thanks goes to Missy (whose red I swiped for this gallery). Here is the code she posted on the thread linked above:
.textarea-handle { position: relative; right: 1px; height: HEIGHT-OF-GRAPHICpx; width: 100%; cursor: n-resize; margin-top: 2px; display: block; background: url(YOUR-GRAPHIC-URL-HERE) no-repeat top right; }
PS Linda, I figured with 12, I had enough at this point to go ahead and start that gallery you requested. |
The following is a list of items that should NOT be tampered with on any site or group theme, when customizing, that renders these items blocked, hidden, obscured or unusable.

POST Moderation In Groups - What Is It And WHY?
You go to POST in this group, (any group) and you suddenly notice a little note near the submit button that says something like "This post will be subject to Moderation, etc). You may NOT notice it.
But then you hit submit and suddenly you see that your post is only a DRAFT. And you will see another more obvious note that your post is held for moderation, etc.
NEW GROUPS (This one is not) and/or NEW MEMBERS of any group are initially subject to this new SPAM safeguard. They will see this sometimes with their first post to a new group or group they have just joined. It's called MODERATION even though the post has the Draft Designation.
Multiply installed this spam filter and only Multiply has access to it. NO admin has access to your post or the controls of this filter. It must clear through Multiply. So please don't think that any admin of any group is holding your post! They aren't! The filter is working great! Multiply just wants to review your first group post to ensure you aren't one of those spammers. The Moderation message states that it can take up to 24 hours. Usually it clears very quickly though. So please be patient and don't DELETE this post! It's the one that gets you past the spam filter and you should not see it again. Deleting the post means you have to be screened again.
Again, NO admin in any group is moderating or holding your post so they cannot release it.
As new members to this group, everyone will probably be subjected to this slight annoyance. But please let it clear so you won't see it again! If you have any problem with a post clearing within that time frame, please notify CS. Admins can't see your moderated post to report it.
TIP: WHEN YOU JOIN A GROUP, ESTABLISH YOURSELF AS A MEMBER BY CREATING YOUR FIRST POST! :) Because no matter how long you are a member, it's the first post that makes you subject to moderation. So go ahead.... Get it over with. lol
All group admins are welcome to link to this post.
All members should already be aware that you are not allowed to do any manipulation of a theme that involves removing, hiding or obscuring the ADs on a homepage, that show in the right rail. (And possibly elsewhere) This is what funds Multiply to allow you to enjoy their services.
Posting or using any theme that removes/hides/obscures these ads, may cause action that could involve having members (and possibly you) lose their Multiply Accounts. By posting or using any theme that affects ads in this manner, you are effectively putting your and other members' accounts at risk. Doing so can also cause themes to malfunction, and certain features disabled. Many are having to change themes for this reason. (There may be errors in your coding that can also cause themes to not work too so if your theme doesn't work, this may not be the reason).
Themes have been found on Multiply that did involve removing/hiding/obscuring ads. Some have already been removed from some of the Themes Groups and the Theme Author(s) contacted. IF you have this included in your themes , you are required to immediately correct your theme or remove it.
This is in DIRECT violation of the TERMS.
The following is a partial list of the kind of Content that is illegal or prohibited on the Web site. Multiply reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action in its sole discretion against anyone who violates this provision including, without limitation, removing the offending communication from the Multiply site and terminating the membership of such violators and reporting you to law enforcement authorities. It includes Content that:
"...blocks, removes or otherwise obscures the display of advertisements that appear on Multiply, or attempts to do so;"
So please, do not put your or other members's accounts at risk !
